It all started back in 1983 when my neighbor let me borrow a bootleg copy of Wizardry I. Since then I have played countless computer games ranging from Infocom to Bioware and now Bethesda.
When not gaming I hide in plain sight as a Baker, husband and father. While I love the comradery of a good group in PvP I can also be found PvEing, usually with my daughter, The Fox. Anyone is welcome to join us.

Hail and well met fellow Adventurer. My name is Lucian
and I have been playing videogames in one form or another since the 80s. I was your typical Nintendo/ Sega Genesis kid until my friend Max introduced me to a game called Warcraft. We would play against each other across the internet using IP addresses. The internet was still an infant back then and sites were mostly boards you could post stuff on.
Then in December of 2017 I got a game called Ultima Online
(it was released in September but I did not get it until December as a Christmas present). This was my first true MMO. I had a blast just exploring it all, a huge world where other people played as well, just blew my mind. From there it was Everquest then the normal progression of huge MMOS as they released. (Anarchy Online, Dark Age of Camelot, EVE, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes and Villains , WOW, Shadowbane, GW2, ESO ect.)I had a constant group of friends during those years and
we migrated from guild to guild always keeping together. Then overtime we started to slowly peel off. Families happened, people moved away, lost touch, ect. Then while researching for Camelot Unchained I stumbled across a small humble guild with an Owl as its mascot.I joined Clan Sverker because I believe and wanted one thing
above all else. A place I could call home where I could create those same types of great memories I had with my friends all those years ago in those games. It wasn't the games I loved it was the community, the friendship, the camaraderie.Anyways, my name is Lucian, and Clan Sverker is my home.

I have been playing games on a PC since the mid 1980s, yes the 1980s. I started in MMOs in the early 2000s with DAoC. I played around with it for a couple of years but it was later in the games life and I didn't know at the time of what I had. I moved to Star Wars Galaxies and then to WoW. I played WoW for 13 years. I was on and off towards the end of that as I tried to find something more to the PvP side. One of my longer breaks in WoW was for Warhammer. I loved the game but it missed something, the 3 realms of DAoC and to me that just left a hole as it was always a back and forth without a third side to throw a wrench in your plans. This was the time that I started to see what I had missed from DAoC, the great open world RvR. I have also spent quite a bit of time in Star Wars The Old Republic and am playing this right now as well.
I have searched many games and have not until now found what I think will fill that hole. Camelot Unchained (CU) by City State Entertainment (CSE). This is owned by the creator of DAoC and Warhammer, Mark Jacobs. The other main owner is Andrew Meggs who made one of my all time favorite games Vampire the Masquerade. I am looking forward to spending the next decade playing their game as I know that they will do this right for the game and community. When I am not playing MMOs I love the Civilization series and am always trying out games that interest me as they come out. Hopefully once CU is released I will save money as I will not be purchasing as many games as I am now.
